Sequana at the 2024 Paris Olympics

It was Sequana, Gallo-Roman Goddess of La Seine at the 2024 Paris Olympics.  She was part of the homage to the pagan roots of the Olympic Games.  In my opinion,  her appearance was a reminder of Paris' pagan past and not a suggestion that it replace Christianity.
